Give Webese your current site's address
The Switch Wizard reads your existing site and pulls out its colours and its copy, so the draft starts from your real business rather than a blank page.

Decide how closely to follow it
Webese can take your current site as design inspiration — same feel, rebuilt properly — or depart from it entirely if the point of moving is that you didn't like it.

Refine and publish
Edit as you would any Webese site, then publish. You now have a live site at a webese.ai address while your old one is still running.

Move your domain when you're ready
Once you're happy with the new site, Webese walks you through pointing your domain at it, with steps written for your specific registrar.
Worth knowing
- Nothing happens to your existing site. It stays up until you move the domain yourself, so there's no window where you have no website.
- The new site is inspired by the old one, not a pixel copy. Rebuilding properly is the point — if you want an exact replica, this isn't the tool.
Common questions
Will my site look exactly the same as before?+
No, and deliberately so. Webese takes design direction — palette, feel, structure — and rebuilds the site around your positioning. Sites aren't templates here, so an exact reproduction isn't something we guarantee.
Will my email break when I move my domain?+
Not if you follow the steps for a domain with existing email. Tell the wizard your domain has mail on it and it gives you the right record — the bare-domain record is the one that breaks email.
